We’ve spent years on dating apps, experiencing a minuscule success rate. Weeks of lifeless messaging only to result in a meetup with someone you ultimately don’t have any connection with equates to a lot of wasted time.

 

We’re looking to go on first dates with people we see potential and spark with, but across the whole spectrum of apps, the vast majority of  our first dates feel like blind dates, when that’s not what we want. This is because we aren’t sufficiently getting to know our potential partners using the features of each respective app.

The purpose of Goose is to give users opportunities to sense if there’s really a "there" there. Potential sparks aren’t felt through awkward messaging, transactional swiping, or an unprompted video chat; in the real world, we develop a crush on someone when we glimpse their unique personality traits, which have zero time to shine through the aforementioned avenues.
